
Fayetteville, Ark. – Blessings Golf Club will host the sixth annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational presented by Tyson Foods this fall, announced recently by tournament officials. Slated for September 28-October1, the event is expected to feature 10 of the top men’s and women’s teams from across the country, including hosts and defending Overall University Champions, the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Blessings Collegiate Invitational is a 54-hole stroke play competition, with the men’s and women’s teams competing on the same course and in the same conditions throughout the week. The comprehensive tournament field includes a lineup of distinguished programs from top conferences such as the AAC, ACC, Big 12, Mountain West, Pac-12 and Southeastern Conference.
The fifth annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational presented by Tyson Foods was held in October 2024, featuring a dominant performance from the University of Arkansas to capture the Overall University Champions. The Lady Razorbacks cruised to their fourth title in five years, finishing the event at 12 under par. Maria Jose Marin defended her title while setting a Blessings Collegiate Invitational record of 11 under par. The LSU Tigers won the Men’s Team competition finishing 2 under par and earning victory by 16 strokes. Gunnlaugur Arni Sveinsson won individual honors by two strokes at 7 under par over teammate Algot Kleen, who shot a tournament record 63 in the final round.
